America is very much like ancient Israel. Defiant. Brazen. Headstrong.
The United States, like Israel, had a covenant with God. And all of our national blessings came as a result of our relationship with our God. But now we see America shifting far away from God. And like ancient Israel, we will suffer humiliating judgment for our national sins.
Can you begin to see the handwriting on the wall? Can you see the shift in our culture? Can you see the outward defiance of our God? Can you see our national problems rising up all around us, to the point that they are not solvable anymore? Deep down in your heart, you see the change in our country — the lawlessness, the moral collapse — and you know that we’re going in the wrong direction.
But do you realize that our outward rebellion against God is tied to our national problems and cultural collapse?
Before judgment comes, God always sends a prophet. Rabbi Jonathan Cahn addressed Members of Congress with a prophetic message to the Supreme Court, President Obama and America.
Our nation defies God, lifting her hand in defiance of her creator. This generation will not pass, until they witness judgement on this once great Republic. The shining city that sits on a hill is about about to experience what Israel experienced when they turned away from God. It won’t be pretty!
Cahn is one of many national leaders appealing to the masses for national repentance.
We are living in perilous times. And we need to see just how late the hour is. Even secular survivalists speak about hoarding provisions for the difficult times ahead, because they see what’s coming. How much more so should we be concerned about the lateness of the hour!
We don’t teach this in schools anymore, but this nation was founded on Christian principles! They taught that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and that He is the Only one who can shelter us in the days to come and prepare us for His return. As the ancients of old said:
1. repent of your sins,
2. accept Jesus’s sacrifice for your sins and
3. follow Him.
The hour is late, my friend. It’s time to think seriously about the times we’re living in and our eternal destiny.
