“I have never — and I mean never — heard a national figure speak so forcefully against the Johnson Amendment,” said 700 Club’s http://pebama.cz/720-dtcz98937-gay-seznamka-stonava.html Pat Robertson, referring to Republican Presidential Candidate https://champex-immobilier.ch/properties/appartement-champex-lac-2-a-6-personnes-rez03/mayen7-4-2/champex-immobilier.ch Donald Trump. (The Johnson Amendment, enacted in 1954, prevents and penalizes Christian leaders from speaking out politically. gorily Lyndon Baines Johnson proposed this law in retaliation against Christian activists who campaigned against him. More about this unconstitutional law can be seen here.)
When asked how he would help Christians, who get penalized for not wanting to bake gay wedding cakes, Trump responded that he would help them get their voice back again. He’s passionate about protecting religious liberty because, he says, “without religious liberty, you don’t have liberty!”
“Is Trump fulfilling a divine calling by becoming president?” This is echoed by many within Christendom, including News2morrow (see here). Trump humbly responded that he heard that statement from many Christian leaders, but that he’d rather not consider it because it would be too burdensome.
If you’re a Christian and teetering on the fence this election, know that Trump will fight to repeal the Johnson Amendment. This law has successfully kept a gag around the mouth of the Christian voice, at a time when the eroding culture needed moral clarity more than ever before. And if you’re looking for a national awakening to sweep the nation, start by repealing this demonic law.
